On 14 January 2026, the MITGEST consortium held its Outreach Session 2026 in an online format, hosted by Joanna Plesnaik from accelopment. The session brought together all MITGEST doctoral candidates and focused on strengthening engagement in communication, dissemination and outreach activities across the network.
The interactive meeting combined project updates with open discussion, encouraging doctoral candidates to actively contribute ideas, share experiences and reflect on their role in outreach activities. Key topics included
- the current status of MITGEST communication and dissemination actions,
- plans for outreach activities in 2026, and
- the involvement of doctoral candidates in creating news items, social media content and other communication outputs.
Through an open and participatory format, the session fostered dialogue among participants and reinforced the collective responsibility of doctoral candidates in increasing the visibility and impact of MITGEST research and activities.
